Counterfeit Cannabis – the emergence of fake weed

Fake Cannabis is cheap, widespread, hard to track, difficult to control and highly toxic and goes by the names of spice or K2 and these names change as often as the poisoness ingredients they contain. In fact these products are distributed and sold under more than 500 different names including Mojo, Scooby Snax, Black Mamba, Annihilation and so on…and these products have been around since 2004.

One of the main attractions of these fake drugs is that they are generally undetected by traditional drug tests and also do not stay in your system as long as herbal Cannabis and this is because of the fact that the fake weed is not natural and therefore the body gets rid of these toxins just like cocaine or heroin and other poisoness drugs.

So the resulting high of fake weed roughly mimics the effects of Cannabis but with much harsher side effects, including heart attacks, strokes and kidney damage, high blood pressure, blurred vision, vomiting, seizures, hallucinations and excessive anxiety and paranoia. Synthetic drug users also sometimes become so delusional and violent that restraining them requires a couple of people and sometimes the use of antipsychotics.

Producers of these drugs use a continually changing list of ingredients. And each time any government places a combination on its schedule of illegal substances, the suppliers simply replace the chemical with a new one. These ever-changing recipes make it hard for researchers to identify new drug formulations and link them to their side effects. The biggest problem with these fake weed products is that their potency is almost 100 times more than natural herbal Cannabis and together with the neuro-toxic chemicals they spray on the plant material, this makes for a really bad recipe.

So how does counterfeit Cannabis work in the brain?

As we already know we all have an Endocannabinoid system as well Cannabinoid receptors in our brains. When we consume Cannabinoids—whether it is a synthetic drug or a street drug like spice or herbal Cannabis they act on the same neurological pathway in the brain. After smoking or inhaling these substances the drug travels straight to the lungs then the left side of the heart and directly into the blood, and from there it goes straight to the brain.

 

How do these drugs resemble herbal Cannabis?

The side effects from these drugs are similar to those of Cannabis, except they are much more potent. One of the most common side effects of smoking Cannabis is increased heart rate. So with these new synthetic Cannabinoids this happens to a far greater degree. This is one of the main reasons we are seeing heart attacks among people in their early teens. There have also been reports of seizures and strokes and very strong cardiovascular effects.

We are also getting reports of severe kidney damage associated with the use of these fake weed products. So, all the effects usually felt from herbal Cannabis are then intensified hundred-fold with counterfeit Cannabis and often results in death even after the first exposure in a lot of cases.

Not only are the effects of fake Cannabis much more intense, the crash or ‘come-down’ of these fake products is also a big concern.

Generally after using Cannabis people tend to get sleepy, but coming off a high with synthetic cannabinoids, there is a lot more sleepiness. To the extent where there are reports of impaired driving and even of people randomly stopping in the fast lane on highways.

But the most disturbing observation of these counterfeit Cannabis products is the high level of violence and aggression associated with its use.  As everyone knows, people who partake of herbal Cannabis are in fact very cool, calm and collected people who are more interested in peace and love than violence.

Another disturbing fact is that these fake Cannabis products are highly addictive, which is something we are not used to seeing when dealing with herbal Cannabis.

Research has now revealed that detoxing your body from these fake products can often take a week or longer and with extremely uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms including extreme vomiting and diarrhea, inability to eat, drink or focus; extreme fatigue and insomnia. These symptoms then lead to further problems such as extreme dehydration, heart palpitations, renal failure and then death.

To this day there has never been a single death from herbal Cannabis but since the advent of fake weed, just in the US there have been thousands of deaths recorded as a result of counterfeit cannabinoids.

Some people have claimed that dealing with counterfeit cannabis addiction is as difficult as trying to quit crack cocaine or even heroin.

How do you recognize Counterfeit Cannabis?

It should then come as no surprise that most of these fake Cannabis drugs are being produced in China but they are also coming out of other countries such as the UK and US as well.

So basically, these people take any kind of plant material and spray their poisoness chemicals over and present this as Cannabis to the unsuspecting public. 

It is important to realize that the foreign plant material being used may also have its own specific chemical activity which the user would never know about. So at the end of the day you really do not know what you are getting and you need to be aware that there is a very big and very dangerous difference between herbal Cannabis and these new counterfeit Cannabis products.

So in reality this fake weed is made up of dried plant material and various chopped up herbs in a variety of colors from beige, cream red to brown with the active ingredients then being sprayed onto these plant materials of unknown origin.

 

How can you protect yourself and your children?

So now you know about fake street weed…but on the other side of this fake weed coin you will find the, shall ii call it the corporate counterfeit Cannabis side of the coin, where you will find these so-called ‘approved’ synthetic Cannabis medications which are being controlled by the pharmaceutical industry and approved by so-called governments around the world.

You can do your own research about these products and soon you will realize that many of them have already been recalled due to various dangerous side effects including suicidal meditations and other dangerous side effects.

Big pharma has been feverishly working for decades to develop a Cannabinoid based medication minus the THC to avoid patients experiencing any mind altering effects.

They develop drugs which contain certain chemicals which are only similar to those found in Cannabis but are not actually found in the plant, so these drugs do not work like Cannabis but they do use the same brain pathways, so therefore it is definitely never going to be of any benefit to anyone when the real healing is found simply in the whole plant, which should be there for everyone for free, but instead is far out of the reach of the ordinary person.

 

In my 35 years of studying the chemistry of the Cannabis plant by way of the guidance received from my Rastafari elders as well as my own personal medical research ii can tell you for free that Cannabinoids do not work as effectively in isolation compared to working with raw herbal Cannabis and in fact my research has revealed that most Cannabinoids would not be present or even occur in the absence of THC.

The issue of Cannabinoid testing is also a hotly debated topic because in reality just as no two humans are the same, so too, no two Cannabis plants are the same and furthermore which many people may not realize is that no two buds on the same plant are in fact the same in terms of chemical makeup, yet plant material is currently being ‘tested’ with results only being retrieved in fact from say one or two buds per plant so in fact we need to really look closely at who is testing these plants and medicines, and we also need to look at how this information is being controlled.

So what can you do?

The most important thing to do is to educate yourself on the topic of Cannabis and then to realize that the truth is that no-one is more qualified than yourself to deal with your health and the health of your children and elders, and to this end ii must stress that the only way to be totally sure is to grow your own and make your own medicine.  The bottom line is that sadly as history has revealed to us, you really cannot trust anyone but your own true self in most matters in life…especially your own government.

Therefore it is imperatively important that Cannabis be made fully and freely available to all of us as a pure natural resource for responsible use.  Anything less is in my opinion simply more false freedom where we will be dictated to about who is ill enough to receive this medicine and also that you will be completely ignorant as to the content and manufacture of your medicine.

Furthermore there are currently new laws in the process of being passed to allow pesticides to be tested on Cannabis plantations. As we all know currently our own government is in the process of spraying poisoness chemicals over the Cannabis plantations in the rural Transkei Eastern Cape but sadly these toxic chemicals are also being sprayed over our people’s food crops as well.

Cannabis has already been proven over and over to have absolutely no harmful characteristics known to mankind or animal kind and in fact it has been proven that Cannabis is only for the healing it simply does not do any harm, it only heals.

Cannabis mostly makes you feel the way you wish to feel, physically, mentally and spiritually, and also on a much higher level it reveals YOU to you. In order to overdose one would literally  have to consume the equivalent of your body weight within 24 hours so good luck with that because no one has ever died trying to do this and everyone knows that the most dangerous thing about Cannabis is being caught with it, so there you go.

Cannabis has also proven to be one of the very few plants which actually leaves the soil in better condition after harvesting and every single part of the plant including the root may consumed by humans and animals for feeding, healing and spiritual awareness with no harmful side effects.

The bottom line and the blatant truth is that you cannot improve or improvise what nature has already perfected and so in Cannabis we have a truly remarkable healing plant, which is why we believe it to be the tree of life of which the leaves will heal the nations as referred to in the Revelation.

So if you are not in a position to grow your own or produce your own medicine then the next best thing you can do is to ensure that you consult with a reputably recognized Cannabis Medicine Practitioner or a Rastafari Herbalist as persons of these callings would have the most knowledge of how the Cannabis plant works for the overall healing of the nations.
