THE TRUTH ABOUT THC…ONLY THC BINDS TO
CANNABINOID RECEPTORS
Today ii read a Cannabis Medicine article which ii was unable to save at
the time...but it incorrectly stated that CBD and other Cannabinoids bind to
Cannabinoid Receptors...this is incorrect and ii really need people to
understand that only THC binds to the Cannabinoid receptors and this is why the
Ancient Rastafarians used to refer to the EC system as the "THC
receptors"
According to Professor Mechoulam "THC and ONLY THC binds to the
Cannabinoid Receptors CB1 and ": (there are others we are studying).
So for example when he first started testing CBD (which was identified
before THC) on lab rats he administered the CBD via the Serotonin receptor
because CBD has affinity with other receptors but not with the two CB receptors
which have been cloned todate.
All of this makes the EC System more and more complex to study but
definitely fascinating...right now in Israel at Hebrew University intense
studies are underway where they have now actually managed to isolate CBD and
especially in their bone laboratory they are proving me wrong in that ii
believe that THC is necessary to effect this medicine...It is also proving that
Phyto Cannanbinoids have the ability to interact with other receptors in the
body to produce healing…into the future...blessed be...
