On Friday 25 August, ii was on the way to the Pretoria
High Court peaceful protest when ii received
a message from one of my human patients asking me if ii have animal
patients as well to which ii responded “Lots”.
This is the conversation chat line:
“Oh my
word, we are so worried. One of my
sisters miniature French poodle puppies has a skin condition that the vet has
never seen before in his career. Taking her
to a specialist today but the prognosis is not good, She is only five weeks old
and weighs 400 grams. If you could advise us it will be awesome”

Shoo so all the way to Pretoria ii am praying for a
miracle for this little fur kid and ii advise my patient to apply the oil
topically as well as to let me know what the specialists feedback was following
their appointment later that day. When ii was a student nurse ii saw something
similar in a human it was called an ischael rectal absess and the biggest risk
is the bacterial infection from faecal matter seeping into the tissues.
Later that evening ii received a follow up message and
the specialist had said that the faecal matter had infected the tissues and
some surgery was needed and they were to find a vet who was prepared to operate
on a 400 gram puppy. The specialist
suggested that she be put to sleep.
My patient is also a very good healer and ii urged her to
continue with the oil at least for the weekend before putting her to sleep and
she agreed to care for the little puppy herself so ii could check up on them.

Praise YAH she made the weekend!
My human patient took my animal patient to work with her
and said that whilst the wound looked better the faecal matter was still
passing out of the wound due to the rectal tear which no one knows what caused
this.
She said the magic words “oil makes her sleep” to which
ii replied “that’s good she must sleep keep going and put on the wound as well”.

animal studies and to be honest everyone ii showed these pictures to over the
weekend informed me that they did not believe that the puppy would survive this

would not end with euthanasia.

Today is 6 September Full Moon blessings ii receive this message from my human patient:
"Hi Vee Update on Puppy. Took her to surgeon yesterday and he was amazed that the outside wound has healed. And it seems as if the inside tear might also have healed and will not be necessary to operate. We just have to monitor her closely. He wants to see her next week again and she gained 100 grams since Friday,"
