The Plant of
Renown & the Tree of Life
There are so many fascinating aspects to the Cannabis
plant. And for me it comes as no surprise that the leaves are made up of 7
leaflets. The number 7 is the holy number and is mentioned 735 times in the
Bible. In the 12th verse of the first chapter of Genesis our Creator
says He was happy with the creation of seed bearing herbs and just further
along in the 29th verse you will read from God’s own mouth that HE
has given us ALL seed bearing plants on the surface of the earth. So surely if
God saw that His Creation was ‘good’ this would mean that it was pretty much
perfect?
GENESIS 1 vs 29
And then God said: “Behold
I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all of the
earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be meat for you.”
When God speaks of meat, He is referring to food. Most meat is cooked over a source of heat,
usually a flame or fire, and then consumed through the mouth. The Rastafari
practice of smoking Cannabis is really no different to eating meat. Observing the command to use herbs that bear
seed of its kind, the Rastafari Brethren and Sistren, after separating the
seeds from the flowers and leaves, put the herb (meat) in a bowl, apply a flame
to it (cooking it) and ingest it through the mouth, this is why you will hear
some Rasta’s speak about “eating some
herb”.
2 SAMUEL 22 vs 9
“Smoke poured out of his nostrils, a consuming flame and burning coals
from his mouth”,
This scripture is repeated again in Psalms 18 verse 8 word for word and
again in Job 41 verse 20:
“Smoke comes pouring out of his nose, like smoke from weeds burning
under a pot”
The fact that smoke came out of JAH’s nostrils and fire from his mouth,
suggests God indeed has a body. The
question is “How did smoke get inside
JAH’s body? Far may it be for me to question how my God gets ‘high’ but our
answer is through the eating (smoking) of the holy herb, and we continue to
justify our Biblical defense of eating and smoking herb by insisting that
Cannabis increases spiritual awareness, and brings us into closer meditation
with our Creator.
It is of course, naturally, the psychedelic properties of THC which
creates the spiritual awareness which is experienced by everyone who consumes
Cannabis and not only followers of Rastafari. It has always been my
personal reasoning that it is precisely the psychedelic effects of Cannabis
which is the main reason for prohibition and persecution and ii believe that
the reason for this is to prevent mankind from healing themselves and from
getting closer to our Creator. It doesn’t matter what religion you were born
into everyone was born with a natural instinct to seek out their Creator. This
is because your creator dwells within you.
This is why the challenge continues for scientists to
create chemically altered Cannabis products which generally have very little
medical effect and a lot more side effects than whole herbal plant Cannabis.
They do this to alter the effects of THC which they claim to do under the
banner of ‘protecting’ us. People really need to realise that there is a very
big difference between using natural plant material and using synthetic
cannabis products which claim to come from the actual Cannabis plant. In other words governments do not want people
to experience natural THC from the actual plant and be “high”. Personally ii feel this word is really such an awful way to
describe euphoria. To be ‘high’ is to
be in the Spirit…the same Spirit referred to in the Bible. In order to be in
the spirit we have to succumb to this spirit which lives inside of us.
This means that we have to listen to the voice of the
Spirit which dwells within us and to allow this spirit to guide us in all
things in life for it is only by the Spirit that we might be able to understand
spiritual things. So ii do believe that if we wish to hear the voice of God and
to understand the things of God then we need to live by the Spirit and allow
ourselves to be led by the Spirit. Through Cannabis we can achieve this visit
with Spirit as millions of people everywhere in the world already do.
EXODUS 3 verse 2 -4
“There the angel of the Lord appeared to him
as a flame coming from the middle of a bush.
Moses saw that the bush was on fire but that it was not burning up. ‘This is strange,’ he thought. ‘Why isn’t the bush burning up?’”.
We believe that this scripture explains that a conference between man
and God is symbolized with a burning bush and this is why we ritually recreate
this connection by burning the bush, or herb, Cannabis. This produces a heightened spiritual
awareness, allowing for a closer communion with one’s Creator. This is what it means “to be in the Spirit”.
ROMANS 12 verse 2
“Do not conform yourselves to the standards
of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your
mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God-what is good and is
pleasing to him and is perfect.”
In order to achieve a “complete
change of mind” which is a shift in consciousness in the upward direction
towards enlightment one needs to be “in
the Holy Spirit” and we believe that sacred communion with one’s Creator
produces spiritual health, which, in turn helps both mental and physical
health. To live in communion with God
through the Holy Spirit using Cannabis is one of the ways to achieve this
communion which is why this plant is a sacrament for many religious and
spiritual people around the world and not just Rastafari because Cannabis
alters our consciousness and opens our chakra system which allows us to enter
different dimensions and become closer to God.
Personally ii just love the book of Ezekiel and ii often find a lot of
my answers in this book. The following scripture is my absolute favorite all
time scripture. It is blatantly clear from Ezekiel that God anticipated that we
would be persecuted for the use of this plant of renown.
EZEKIEL 34 verse 29
“And I will raise up for them a plant of
renown, and they shall be no more be consumed with hunger in the land, neither
bear the shame of the heathen anymore.”
Is
Cannabis the Tree of Life?
A lot of people believe that the tree of life
and the tree of knowledge is the same tree but ii do not believe this, ii do
believe that Cannabis is the biblical Tree of Life as well as the Plant of
Renown. It is interesting to realize that the Cannabis plant vibrates to the
frequency of 432 Hz which is the frequency of harmony and of the earth and
nature. According to Dr Masaru Emoto Cannabis’ vibration has the potential to
cleanse the environment from radiation contamination. This frequency is
mathematically consistent with the universe and therefore harmonious with God
and this frequency carries healing energy which explains why Cannabis can heal
so many different types of diseases.
REVELATION 22 verse 2
“In the middle of the street, and on either side of the river, was the
tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every
month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there
shall be no more curse”
Throughout the bible from Genesis chapter 2 through to the Revelation we
learn of the Tree of Life and this scripture is repeated in Ezekiel 47 verse 12
and Psalm 1 also speaks about a life giving tree. The overall message certainly
seems to be that God presented us with the life giving tree which would carry
the burden of the heathen as we learnt in Ezekiel 34 verse 29 so we realize
that God knew we would suffer persecution for using the tree of life of which
the leaves will heal the nations.
It is natural to ask what is the meaning of the healing leaves?
The concept of healing leaves does not only refer to sickness since the
tree of life existed in the Garden of Eden before sin and sickness. So healing
not only indicates the presence of disease but also the wiping away of tears
which were caused by the problems of this creation. Poverty, famine, plagues,
oppression and depression can all be healed through the tree of life Cannabis
without bearing the shame of a heathen as God warned us. Cannabis leaves
contain many of the Cannabinoids but is incredibly rich in Cannabinoid known as
CBD which alongside THC is a vital healing Cannabinoid and this is also part of
the idea that it is these specific leaves which are for the healing of the
nations. CBD is the main antagonist of the THC receptors and this
is how it is able to help people with things like anxiety, depression, pain, inflammation,
congestion, epilepsy, nausea, insomnia even cancer and so many other common
ailments today. CBD is also responsible
for controlling our own Endocannabinoids and this is vital health information.
Humans remain forever dependent upon God our ultimate source of life and
this dependence is reflected in our need to access the harvests of the tree of
life because of its life giving properties which are now scientifically proven
facts of the physical, mental, spiritual and economic benefits of Cannabis. If
Cannabis was to be removed from any legal system and returned to God’s people
immediately everyone would have a means to support themselves to survive
through their interaction with Cannabis. This plant has the ability to uplift
mankind from their present day suffering.
Whole communities, villages, towns, cities and countries would be
uplifted from the extreme poverty and disease which is raging through our
society at this time and only appears to be getting worse. Indeed if we look
anywhere in the world right now the nations are filled with disease and various
ailments. The healing of the nations’ literally refers to the preservation of
health, comfort, happiness and freedom and the subsequent removal of evil and
the sins of mankind.
In order to keep mankind in sin and far away from the Creator it became
necessary for the evil forces to remove us from the tree of life Cannabis. This
started in the 1930’s with prohibition where the first thing they did was
remove Cannabinoids from our food chain and this is where all the disease
started to set in. The fruit of the Cannabis plant is the seed and it is a
well-known historical fact that hemp seeds have been in our food system for
over 5000 years up until around 100 years ago.
The flowers of Cannabis produce THC which mimics the activities of our
own natural Anandamide which is known as the ‘bliss molecule’ and the leaves are abundant in the Cannabinoid
known as CBD which mimics the activities of our second Endocannabinoid known as
2-AG. These two Cannabinoids are the main players in the Cannabis plant which
is needed to restore human health via our THC receptor system.
It is now a known and proven scientific fact that all humans, and most
of life on earth even jelly fish, have Cannabinoid receptors throughout our
bodies, known as the Endocannabinoid System. So, even though now that the whole
world knows that we have Cannabis receptors within our bodies; which, really
means, that we are supposed to consume Cannabis, we are still suffering under
wicked Cannabis laws.
This system of receptors did not come about because there is a plant
called Cannabis it came about millions of years ago because there is a chemical
substance in our brains which shares the activities of THC which is only found
in the Cannabis plant despite the fact that other Cannabinoids even CBD are in
fact present in many other plants but THC is only found in the Cannabis plant
and this is exactly why followers of Rastafari refer to Cannabis as the tree of
life and this is why ii refer to this plant as our human companion plant.
Like the biblical tree of life Cannabis can also offer us everlasting
life in other words immortality beyond the flesh in the way in which this human
companion plant performs its physiological and spiritual functions from the
moment of conception through all the phases of life including the aging process
where Cannabis has been scientifically proven to enhance longevity because of
its powerful anti-oxidant properties.
Many people will tell us that the tree of life is only a symbolic tree
because in their minds no such actual tree exists in the present world. They
cannot realize that because this tree has been kept illegal and demonized for
almost 100 years that in fact Cannabis is the tree of life. If you can consider
that the biblical river of life, the street and the city it runs through are an
actual river, street and city then it is also quite possible that the tree of
life is an actual tree.
The Bible teaches us that the tree of life produces 12 harvests but this
doesn’t mean that it produces 12 different types of fruit rather that it
continues to produce fruit all year round instead of just once a year.
Part of the “healing of the
nations” is the idea of abundance where this tree can be harvested
literally all year round. This is not an
idea this is a well- researched horticultural fact concerning the Cannabis
plant. The concept of the Law of Abundance is one of God’s laws and this holy
meditation is manifested in the Cannabis plant for all God’s children. Our
Creator considered abundance for all us to use Cannabis as a cash crop just
like tomatoes for instance. The supply never fails and it is true that there
can never be enough Cannabis and this is why the tree of life is never barren
and this plant can literally grow anywhere and is constantly producing for
harvest. It is a known scientific fact that every part of the Cannabis plant
can be used and even the roots contain medicinal properties so everything about
the tree of life contributes to the sustenance of life.
This may come as a big surprise to many Christians but in fact the true
healing powers of the Holy anointing oil described in Exodus 30 verse 22 – 25
rests in the Cannabis plant, the plant of renown. Here is a list of the
biblical ingredients:
500 shekels (about 6 kg) pure myrrh
250 shekels (about 3 kg) sweet cinnamon
250 shekels (about 3 kg) Kaneh- bosem
500 shekels (about 6 kg) Cassia
One hin (about four liters) Olive oil
International sources generally agree about the identity of four of the
five ingredients of the anointing oil, but the identity of the fifth, that of
‘Kaneh (Qaneh)-bosem was a matter of controversy. It was only in 1936, that the
first solid evidence of the Hebrew use of Cannabis was established by Sula
Benet, a Polish etymologist from the Institute
of Anthropological Sciences in Warsaw. (He studied the origin of words and
how their meanings have changed throughout history). Sula Benet demonstrated
that the word for Cannabis is ‘Kaneh-bosm’,
also translated in traditional Hebrew as ‘kaneh’
or ‘kannabus’. The word appears five
times in the Old Testament; in the books of Exodus 30 verse 22—23, The Songs of
Songs 4 verse 14, Isaiah 43 verse 23-24, Jeremiah 6 verse 20 and Ezekiel 27
verse 19. This is not new information we have known this since 1936.
The word ‘kaneh-bosm’ is now
accepted as having been mistranslated as ‘calamus’,
a common marsh plant with little value, and does not have the properties
attributed to ‘kaneh-bosm’. This error occurred in the oldest Greek translation
of the Hebrew Bible, and was repeated in the many translations that followed.
In order for mankind and womankind to truly return to their Creator,
their Maker, their God with their whole heart, it is crucial that as
individuals we have complete freedom of choice in respect of worship, without
persecution so as to be able to follow our own conscience and be led by our own
God. Once people begin to access their consciousness it will become easier to
realize that a society that keeps a cure like Cannabis a secret and illegal so
that they can continue selling drugs at huge profits with hugely negative side
effects is not really a society but is actually just a massive mental asylum.
Can we afford for this state of affairs to continue into the future?
1 Timothy 4 vs 1 – 5
“The Spirit says clearly that some people will abandon the faith in
later times; they will obey lying spirits and follow the teachings of
demons. Such teachings are spread by
deceitful liars, whose consciences are dead, as if burnt with a hot iron. Such people teach that it is wrong to marry
and to eat certain foods. But God
created those foods to be eaten, after a prayer of thanks, by those who are
believers and have come to know the truth.
Everything that God has created is good; nothing is to be rejected,
but everything is to be received with a prayer of thanks, because the word
of God and the prayer make it acceptable to God.”
Cannabis literally gives us life
One of the most important
medical mysteries of our time is the question as to why a woman’s body does not
actually release the foetus and terminate pregnancy. Scientists in the fields
of transplantation immunology and reproductive biology have been baffled for
decades as to why a mother’s immune system does not reject the developing
foetus and placenta as alien tissue? The foetus and the placenta both express
antigens which are different to the mother and in terms of what we know about
medicine the maternal immune system should by rights reject this foreign
tissue.
The scientists at New York University School of Medicine
made a completely unexpected discovery as scientists do. The human body is by
creation designed to reject alien matter when invaded and this usually
manifests as fever, diarrhoea and vomiting which is sign that the body is
trying to find ways to get rid of the bacteria or virus and so on. In my
opinion this is exactly why women and some men even suffer from ‘morning
sickness’ the woman’s body is trying to reject the foetus in this first
trimester. Half of the genes of the foetus comes from the father and
technically could carry genetic code which could actually be a threat to the
mother or the child or both. So the foetus is a foreign invader to the mother’s
own immune system. But for some miraculous reason the mother’s body does not
reject the foetus instead her system changes direction from attacker to
protector thus ensuring continuation of life. How does this happen? How is this
possible? How does this work? And what has this got to do with Cannabis?
It seems odd to me that it
took scientists all this time to figure this mystery out and they only managed
to explain it through the discovery of the THC receptors and Cannabinoid
science.
Exactly six days after
conception…one day before implantation in the uterine wall the womb…something
very mysterious happens in the woman’s body which highlights something very
important about our relationship with the Cannabis plant.
A blastocyst is the cellular
tissue arrangement a cluster of cells is you like which is what develops to
become the human embryo around six days after fertilization takes place. So we
all start off as blastocysts and on the day before implantation the 6th
day this blastocyst starts to produce an enzyme which actually suppresses the
mother’s killer T cells from her immune system and this is how nature prevents
an immune reaction against the soon to be embryo. This is the story of how
Cannabis can halt the imminent and naturally expected death of the future
baby’s cells.
Through this miracle the T
cells are never actually summoned to the site of fertilisation and this is what
saves the foetus and the placenta which forms immediately after implantation.
It is now known that the genes which are
responsible for responding by sending the T cells to any site of injury are
automatically turned off at the beginning of pregnancy inside the uterine
lining which is the cellular barrier which protects the developing baby and the
placenta. There are already a few published scientific papers on animal and
human studies to confirm these findings so this is happening with all mammals
and ii suspect all of life even insects and jelly fish since they also have the
THC receptors.
If these T cells were not turned off and they were
actually sent to the tissue in the uterine wall well then serious complications
would occur like premature labour because the body would be trying to abort the
foetus the foreign object and this can continue till well after the 20th
week of pregnancy as the mother’s blood pressure continues to rise and she
develops blood clotting and kidney problems.
The hormones which control these genes and prevent
the T cells from doing their job to eradicate foreign tissue are controlled by
our own Endocannabinoids Anandamide and 2-AG and this is what takes us straight
to the THC receptors and the system which we have come to know as The EC System
and this takes us to the Cannabis plant. The most distinguishing characteristic
of the immune system and how it defends itself against the implantation of
foreign tissues and toxins is the way in which it produces chemokine’s.
Chemokine’s are a small branch of the cytokines family and cytokines control
the release and absorption of our hormones. They are cellular post men if you
like or signalling proteins secreted by cells.
It is these chemokine’s which the genes use to send
the T cells to the site of injury and this is the most important part of our
immune response system. So it’s the genes which produce these chemokine’s which
are turned off during pregnancy and which protect the unborn baby. So at the
moment an embryo is implanted something intricate and mysterious takes places
to stop the immune system from attacking the future unborn child and it is
directly related to our need for Cannabis consumption as a life-saving medicine
through our natural THC receptor system.
At the end of the day ii have scanned the Bible and studied most of
God’s laws but ii cannot find it written anywhere that we may not consume
Cannabis. It is interesting that no prohibition of Cannabis or any other plant
is made in the Ten Commandments. Genesis 1 verse 29 is very clear that God is
giving us every seed bearing herb and we all know that Cannabis is a
seed bearing plant which can be used as food and energy and medicine.
The tree of
life and the plant of renown
represent the love of God which is the greatest of all our gifts from our
Creator. Through the tree of life we are able to experience joy, happiness,
health and abundance. In many different religions the tree of life is described
as being ‘desirable to make one happy”
and “joyous to the soul”. The reason
for this is again because THC found only in the Cannabis plant imitates the
activities of our natural Anandamide the “joy molecule”. We need Cannabinoids
from the Cannabis plant to supplement this system. We are not supposed to be
miserable and depressed and downtrodden. People are not supposed to be living
on top of rubbish dumps with more than half the world’s population starving and
desperately ill.
Cannabis is the only plant on earth which can uplift
mankind out of this murdered rendition of life. Only Cannabis can provide the
healing we so desperately need and this is exactly why this plant remains
illegal and out of the reach of the average person who should be able to grow
this medicine in their own back yards for free. Cannabis is our human companion
plant and keeping us away from this plant by declaring God’s creation illegal is
in plain truth nothing short of murder.
