POSITIVE VIBES AT JOBURG CONSTITUTIONAL COURT
Honestly ii can say that today's events exceeded some of my expectations and certainly improved upon the Pretoria High Court gathering on 25 August.
Constitutional Hill is actually a very special place which holds both our dark past and our bright future. Arriving super early this morning ii had a chance to explore the location and ii truly ii can say ii was overcome with a sense of calm which is very unusual when going to court.
It was a colorful gathering with strong representation from THO, the Traditional Healers Organisation, the Rastafari Community and members of the Cannabis Community. Also ii was very pleased to have had the opportunity to chat with a number of patients for whom Cannabis Medicine had worked successfully and ii really respect patients coming out to support the cause which isnt always an easy task.
While the courts were getting ready...
Supporters were gathering at Joubert Park getting in the spirit to take the walk up to Constitutional Hill.
For me personally ii have a burning issue which ii need to muster support for and this is to release all Cannabis inmates as a matter of urgency ii see this as more important than any legalisation ruling right now.

Everyone wanted a turn to help me carry my banner.
King Adam Kok V is the present leader of the Griqua Nation who has personally filed an application against the State. Traditional Leaders want their arguments heard for Cannabis legalisation.
Rastafari...the most oppressed minority group in South Africa and the people who have been the most persecuted under our laws despite false promises being made to us back in the 90's to secure the vote of Rastafari. We are also the people who have been bringing Cannabis Medicine to the people and wherever we walk in this country people will always ask us for Cannabis.
Above is Tony Budden of Hemporium having a chat with the Sangomas they absolutely love the concept of Hemp fabric and building materials. It is a disgrace that Tony was never given him time in court ii have so much respect for him and his dedication to growing Hemp over the past 20 years. Blessed.
It was both enlightning and un-boring to sit through the afternoon of court hearings and people ask me how it went and yes this is very difficult to gauge especially when you have to listen to some of the utter nonsense that comes out of some professional mouths but ii feel all in all today's hearing was positive and the Senior Justice has undertaken to pass judgement in three days times so we hope to be back in court on Friday.

and this is Advocate Willis of Doctors for Life...the same one who called Professor Nutt a moron while the loudspeakers were still on in Pretoria High Court...
So Judge Cameron put Advocate Willis in his place nicely by telling him to stop 'whining and mumbling' in his court and Judge Cameron wanted to know what input Doctors for Life had for the state and Adv Willis seemed lost for words and sounded like he was mumbling something about not really knowing why he was there...wonder what he was smoking..but the interesting thing was that one of the journalists came out after court ended and mentioned that she was really taken aback as she had never ever seen or heard Judge Cameron being impolite to anyone in court so ii see this as a personal victory for us after the trauma these doctors for death delivered at Pretoria High Court. Boom!
From my side personally ii would just like to offer a massive Heart of Thanks to Ras Gareth Prince, Jeremy Acton and the golden couple Myrtle and Jules for all of their JAH works because honestly ii never thought in my life time that ii would have the honor of sitting in the highest court of the land listening to Cannabis evidence. This would not be possible without the immense courage these shining stars displayed in a ferocious legal system which so badly prejudiced against one of our own, so maximum Raspect to all.
